Went and took my NYSTCE ATAS Exam today after eating a really good and yummy breakfast at home which was an everything bagel with cream cheese and warm oatmeal to warm me up, go and to hopefully pass the exam! Wish me luck but feeling a bit nervous tho! The moment I came in, I was greeted by one proctor on the test site named Raj. Raj seemed really nice, friendly and approachable.
He didn't take long to ask me to empty out and store my belongings to the locker except my ID and given locker key into my pocket, sign the time and agreement form, then do a quick palm vein scan, e-signature on a digital signature pad and took a quick picture of me looking serious and ready. He also walked me to the testing room, gave me a dry erased note board and marker, a tissue, pair of ear plugs to cover my ears to prevent any noises and erasable scratch work, asked him if it's ok to sit in the back of the room (he quickly said, "no problem"), logged me in and walked me through the tutorials, wished me luck and ask any questions I might/will have during the exam.
As you can see, while I took my exam it went quiet and smoothly that I was able to read and answer all of the questions carefully and took the entire 3 hours with little or no nervousness. At the end, I got up from seat and told Raj that I had finished my exam, he told me quickly to submit it, go and then get my unofficial score report. My heart then beated so fast and guess what?
I PASSED! Yay! I'm so happy and I should be thankful for me to study really hard for it for the past 3 months practicing and studying and also Raj the proctor for making my NYSTCE ATAS Exam today smoothly and relaxing! :D

If it was possible to give this testing center less than one star I absolutely would. You'll see on the email from the testing center that they are in Suite 2A, but when you pull up to the address the door is locked and the buzzer has every number/letter combo except 2A. When you call them you find out you have to enter into the medical facility next door and take the stairs up.
The actual computer room shares a wall with the main area that has the test admins outside, someone decided that it would be a great idea to not make the wall floor-to-ceiling, so there's a good 14-foot stretch of the wall that falls about a foot short of the ceiling, this is great because you can clearly hear everything that's going on outside, pens clicking and tapping, people talking or eating, etc. Thankfully the sounds of other people are almost drowned out by the huge exhaust fan that's inside the room that can't possibly be any louder.
You might say "But the staff! They must have been good." and you'd be wrong. Inconsiderate is the best way to put it, they will walk other test takers into the room and then have full conversations at full volume with them, they were a huge distraction, but I guess even if they were to talk outside the room I would have heard it. I was a huge fan of the desks they chose to sit people at too, they have this amazing shelf that I would say is perfectly shin-height which further prevents you from having anything resembling a halfway decent testing experience. I am amazed I passed.

I went to CompuTech Computers to take my Cisco-CCENT certification a couple of months ago. The staff was helpful but it looked like they were on a rush. They took me a picture in a separated room according their policies. They gave a locker to store my personal belongings. The testing room was quiet (as it has to be for computer-based examinations), small, slightly dark, and a little crammed.
The temperature was okay, though the testing room had an old fan. The markers they gave me for scratch notes were some blunt but I could use them. The place is conveniently close to public transportation (train and bus). In general, good experience.

This testing site is extremely dirty, lighting is poor and the staff do not care how loud they talk you can hear everything while testing. I definitely would not take your test here. It was not up to the standards of other testing sites I have been to. I still can't get over how filthy the walls, doors and floors were. I didn't dare use the restroom.

Took my alst here and will take my cst this week. its a lot less strict than the pearson testing centers. looks okay, they have a separate room for testing and it can be a little cold with a/c so bring a sweater. i took my exam on a saturday so it wasn't busy and distracting. no palm scan or anything.
