(Urban Tech), a 501c3 not-for-profit organization, has dedicated the past 25 years to solving safety issues in schools, increasing accessibility of technology in education, providing life skills, including social, emotional intelligence and workforce development in marginalized communities. We help to develop knowledge, critical reflection, and empathic behavior for a more supportive learning environment.

The National Urban Technology Center (Urban Tech) is a social enterprise committed to changing the game in education through digital story telling, critical thinking and social emotional learning. By utilizing animation, relatable language, popular music and gamification, Urban Tech is able to engage students on an unprecedented level.
YLA offers a multimedia online program to teach Essential Life & Social Skills. Choose from 12 innovative and easy to use online courses aligned with Common Core Standards. Education through the power of technology. The YLA Series Bundle includes nine (9) theme-based social and emotional competencies that use story-telling, reading and writing comprehension, discussion groups, situation analysis and contemporary music and games to help students succeed.Appreciate diverse and unique backgrounds of team members and the importance of uniting around a common goal.
Dignity For All (DFA) is trauma informed, research and theory based program that focuses on preventing and reducing bullying and cyberbullying behaviors in schools and communities, while also delivering ELA and STEM-related content aligned with the Common Core State Standards. Through the online learning tool, facilitated discussion, small group dialog, and interactive activities, students, teachers, school personnel, law enforcement officers, and parents/guardians acquire new knowledge, change their mindsets and transform their behavior to prevent bullying behavior and violence in their school.
Parents Care is a bold new program created by Urban Tech to provide a "smart" classroom in every kid's home to assure that no one is left out when schools are closed during the pandemic. As a bonus, Urban Tech will train parents to successfully support the online classroom and become a co-equal partner with the school in achieving their student's academic goals.
