I was in need of upgrading my old laptop and received wonderful customer service from Computer Corner. Dylan, one of the technical services advisors went above and beyond the call of duty! It was a major time saver to be able to get all my questions answered quickly via e-mail instead of having to call numerous times. Diagnostic and data transfer fees are very reasonable. I highly recommend Computer Corner!

I was hoping for a better experience. I used to sell/fix computers, but don't have the time for it anymore. Brought in a laptop for a screen replacement. Was told that they needed to run a diagnostic on the computer and that they would need to open it up to ensure that they were getting the right parts (you don't). If the employee insisted on the diagnostic for other reasons fine, but don't tell me that it is required to look up the right part and give me a quote.
I'm not stupid. Price quoted when pressed is nearly 2x what the next place I called quoted me with simply the model number and the part that needs replacing. Going with DML Computers instead. Don't leave your computer hardware in the hands of people who try to bilk you and trick you. Your data isn't safe. Literally 0 stars.

I've have trusted Computer Corner for keeping my PC in top running condition for over 20 years and they have consistently provided me with excellent professional service whenever needed. I have also purchased computers and other tech equipment from them. I rate Computer Corner as a 5 Star organization without hesitation.

VERY satisfied & relieved after leaving my computer at Computer Corner for a free diagnostic. I've always hesitated to leave my computer with anyone. Travis patiently & clearly answered my questions & assured me all would be well. No more fear! My 5 yr old HP has never run more smoothly since picking it up! I knew I needed a new battery. Travis ordered it, installed it, charged it up & it runs beautifully! All their work was done in a timely way. Call them!

I have been a Computer Corner customer for over 20 years, they are the best. New owner has done a great job of keeping their core values going. Just had them attempt to recover a remote hard drive, not possible, but they tried! I am now on my third gaming computer from them, all three are still in service and each one faster. I just brought my computer to Computer Corner. I cannot be without my computer and Travis is ordering the battery I needed and I'm keeping my computer while I wait for the battery to come in. It's a very simple swap so he is not going to charge labor to install the new battery and check it. I'm very confident this business is reputable and can be trusted with the valuable data on my computer. We will bring in other computers because of that trust. Their business is very clean and they practice covid protocol. I recommend this business to everyone.

I told these guys exactly what i needed and wanted. Not only did they get me what I wanted they got it for me the same day in about 2 hours. Every store I called said it would be 3-4 days to build. I edit videos and photos I had a 3 projects that needed to be completed in 6 days I was able to edit them no issues. 5 stars because they didn't try to upsell me.
I said i wanted 1tb ssd they never said well we recommend a 3 or 4tb. I said i want 32gb of ram they said okay. I didn't get the well we recommend 64gb. Everything i wanted they said okay and told me the price they didn't treat me like i didn't know what i was talking about.

Completely unethical company. I brought in a brand new touch screen computer to have the LCD screen replaced. My kid accidentally hit the screen with a plastic dice and lines were running up and across the screen. Easy diagnosis. The technician told me it would take a week to get an estimate, but if I paid $50 extra, he would move me up in the queue.
So that is completely unethical, people who can't or won't pay extra get pushed down the queue? I decided to wait, I could pay extra but I'm not going to screw over other people. Nine days come and go and I still haven't heard anything. I call and finally get an estimate-$850 plus tax. Mind you, I bought this computer brand new 6 months prior for $798, including tax and shipping.
I found the exact LCD screen that needed to be replaced online-it's $250 new. So I was expecting to pay a lot but this company is clearly inflating prices hoping I'll just buy a new computer from them.

I recently called Computer Corner and spoke with Michael. I have needed an updated home computer for a few years now, and working from home like so many other people at this time required that I upgrade now. I explained to Michael exactly what I would be using the computer for and he helped me design the perfect setup. We placed the whole order over the phone and he had it built that same day!
And the installed everything for me! All I had to do was plug it all in and it was ready to use! Perfect! I've been a customer of Computer Corner for over 30 years, and keep coming back because of their excellent customer service and quality products. I've bought at least 20 different desktops, laptops and printers from them over the years and they saved my bacon when I got a virus that nearly took out my hard drive. They're the best!

I've been dealing with Computer Corner for years and when you go in looking to purchase, they ask what YOU want on your computer and don't try to up-sell you with unnecessary items. I have purchased 3 of their Equus computers over the years and all of them run cool, silently, and last forever. Trips to the Service Department are non-existent. An Equus I purchased in 2010, got used for years, and I gave it to my brother who used it for years.
After 9+ years of hard use, it started to falter, but believe me, their computers really last because they build them using quality parts and not junk. The people at CC are very friendly and helpful and they put on their own radio show on KKOB, which is filled with good info. I recently ran into a software problem on my Equus Win10 PC and I emailed Carole Petranovich who promptly responded with a cure to try. I implemented it and things were back to normal - service above and beyond.
After 9+ years of hard use, it started to falter, but believe me, their computers really last because they build them using quality parts and not junk. I brought a working computer in to be wiped of my personal data so I could gift it to a friend. I had just powered it up and backed up my data minutes before taking it to them. The tech called after about a week and said the screen wouldn't come up. He said it was probably a motherboard problem. I told him I had the computer up and working right before taking it to them. He said it must be a strange coincidence that it failed right after that. I think not. Someone wanted me to spend a bunch of money on a new computer or motherboard.

All-in-all I have been satisfied with the service here. They usually have my computer fixed before the promise date and the guys are helpful and nice. Can be a little pricey but hey, if I could fix my computer then I wouldn't have to pay someone else who actually knows how :) They are fair and won't try to rip you off (at least that's been my experience). In fact, the IT guys that I work with recommend Computer Corner as one of their top three. They should know.

I got the chance to visit this place taking a class for work. I attended an Access class with some of the girls at work. The facilities are super clean and they have a nice classroom set up with workstations so you can work along with the instructor. Phil Shortell was our instructor. He was very patient with us and worked very hard to answer our questions and relate the program to our line of work.
I was very happy with our class and learned how to use the program to best fit my needs. I noticed on the way out they also offer a bunch of other classes too! I would surely recommend a computer class with them. They are very personable and even give you a workbook that you can take notes in and take home. A valuable tool as it is still filled with other helpful notes and directions.

I was there a couple of months ago and I was told that they usually repair computers for large businesses and they usually don't repair computers for individuals! I was told that my hard drive is bad and basically just tried to get me to buy one of their systems! I thought since they were a HP service provider that they would've called HP and maybe have gotten the hard drive for me but they didn't! I was very disappointed.

Don't bring computers to Computer Corner for repair! On Jan 22 I brought two note book computers to CC because one wasn't working and the other kept freezing up. On Fri a CC techie called to tell me the one computer was not worth fixing and offered to recycle it--which I agreed to. After hearing nothing about the second computer I called to inquire the following Tuesday and a second techie told me he tried to call, but the line was busy--not at all likely and he didn't leave a message that he would have been asked to do.
He said he didn't know for sure what was wrong, but would try a good cleaning of the computer which I agreed to. The next day I called again and was told the computer was fixed and ready to pick up and I also got an email saying the same. When I turned on the computer at CC, it had NOT been fixed. It had the same problem--the techie Mark Dattage had NOT even checked computer to see his procedure worked, but sent the email claiming the computer was fixed!
I also checked the work order--the first work order had been correct which explains why first techie could call me. But the second work order was filled out by a TRAINEE who couldn't even manage to correctly copy a phone number! He will be as useless as Mark Dattage! There are other computer repair options so DONT GO TO COMPUTER CORNER!

Computer Corner has some of the best customer service around. They were able to to get my system up and running in the best way possible. Their turn around tone was much faster than promised. Their technicians make you feel very comfortable even for someone like me who isn't computer savvy. I highly recommend this place for all your computer needs.

We purchased 3 computers from this locally owned business for just that reason. However, when I took my laptop (purchased from them) in for a diagnostic, paid the $25 which I was happy to do, and was promised an answer in 24 to 48 hours. Forty-eight hours came and went and when I didn't hear from them, I called and found out that my computer hadn't even been checked.
I was told it was "next on the que." However, when I called the next morning, I was told that it was just about to be put up for diagnosis. This was massively disappointing, given that this is supposed to be the best computer store in Albuquerque. It would have been fine if they had bothered to call me and let me know that they were backed up and it was going to take a little longer, but to be ignored, twice, was pretty unforgivable for a business that prides itself on personal service.

I have gone here on 2 separate occasions. First was a problem with my MAC laptop. Second was with a virus I thought had infected my brand new PC laptop. Both times called ahead & got clear, patient, & comprehensive info. Told upfront the cost of the disgnostic fee ($25.00) which you pay when you drop your computer off & that they would get back to me within 2 days, which they did.
My MAC was going to cost more than what I figured was worth it. They removed the hard drive & I left the laptop to be recycled. ( yes, I had already gone to the only Apple store in NM to find out what was wrong, cost, etc.). Second time I thought my brand new laptop was infected with a virus. It was explained to me after describing the problem that it was most likely malware. Took it in; a program for malware was added & a virus program suggested called Kalpersky which I got. If this was about windows related computer issues, i would rate this company probably 4-5 stars. but my experience was about apple system. it took 2 supports and 2 separate visits, each taking 2 days to work on my problem, which was trying to restore an image from earlier few days. in the process, their work ended up problem with OS itself, that could not load or start. but the support took additional 2 days to recover my original material. after all, they recommended to see apple support, which I did, with resolution and a simple fix that took about a min. of time on the phone. staff very cordial and genuinely want to help. but to my experience, this is not for apple computer issues, as one would expect from their reputation on windows base computing

This is probably the very best computer service company in Albuquerque. I had my computer fail due to the hard drive going bad. Rather than replace the hard drive on this old computer, they suggested I look at purchasing another unit. They have a bunch of restored computers which they guarantee for a year, the same as new ones. Evan helped me pick out one with a reasonable price, and also a reconditioned monitor.
Even transferred everything over for me, gave me clear instructions on what I needed to do to restore some files. Evan and Computer Corner are the very greatest, and will continue to go to them for problems.

We have done business with Computer Corner for years, so when my wireless network crashed, I put in a frantic call to them for help. I spoke with Evan who assured me that they would gladly come to my home and fix it, but had I tried the online diagnostics for my modem? He explained how to find the information I needed and asked me to let him know one way or the other if that solved my problem.
After working my way through the online prompts and restoring my modem, I was able to connect all of my computers and mobile devices, but not the printers. So I called Evan back, explained the situation, and we agreed to schedule a repair appointment for the next day. Meanwhile, I was able to get the printers connected, so I called Evan to cancel the home visit, thanking him for his help.
He was very gracious and said again that if I needed anything further he would be happy to help. As always, i am amazed at the level of service we received from Computer Corner. Thanks, Evan!
