The Learning Center

So thankful I found this place! I had been studying on my own for months and started looking for ways to learn in person--hands on--that might further my understanding. This place was it. Ron and Van are exceptional instructors with years of experience under them. As a current casino employee attempting to segue into IT, I feel very lucky and grateful that this place exists.

I completed my first cert thanks to these guys!(Nikko & Garvin also) It's to my understanding that the ownership has changed prior to my arrival. The website seems to be updating periodically, and the technology on site rivals that of UNLV's. If you're interested in IT or going back to school to improve your comprehension of the ever-changing world of technology, do yourself a favor and check this place out! It will be infinitely quicker AND likely a bit cheaper than the traditional schools around southern LV.

The work that TLC does is just simply amazing! They are community based learning center offer TOP OF THE LINE & STATE OF THE ART COMPUTER & MODERN TECHNOLOGY TRAINING COURSES! They have everything from SQL training to Cyber Security courses. They have a program that is called the Technology Boot Camp. I am hoping to get the opportunity to attend the courses available but with everything that has been going on in the world I am just unsure of when that might be.

I was supposed to have attended in March of 2020 but because pretty much everything in the world decided to change and go array leaving TLC ni choice but to cancel the courses being offered at the time. Long story short if your interested in gaining the knowledge of everything technology then the learning center is precisely where you want to start at.

I highly recommend everyone who is interested in just wanting to learn more so they can work towards a great future and career. I do believe that they also offer training courses other than computer training courses.

I called 4 times trying to find out about their apprenticeship program. When someone finally called me back he said he would email me everything about the program but when I got the email it was only about paying for classes. Now they won't even call me back.

I showed up on time, payed for my class, and took off work. When I arrived, no one was there to proctor my exam. I have waited 45 minutes so far to start my test. Very frustrating.

School has nice facility, instructors are very knowledgeable. I wish they will offer classes longer instead of booth camp.

I'm currently here for a class through my employer for the next two days. So, I'm FORCED to be here. The receptionist was rude (OF COURSE) Suite 150. At least she greeted me. I told her what property I was from but I guess that wasn't good enough, she wanted to know the company. I pulled out the documentation that showed where the class was, and she's like oh this this company.scoffs.room 2.

I just said 'oh' and rolled my eyes. I've only been here for an hour. And my other colleagues have made complaints on her as well. Right now, she's watching Netflix movies on her phone. It MUST be nice. This place is a joke.

The learning center is operated by the best group of professionals I have ever met. They cater to the military and it is very much appreciated. Thank you for showing up to our events, and thank you for providing world-class training. I attended their CASP course and it was fantastic.

Clean, modern building. Extremely helpful & knowledgeable VA coordinator with prior military experience on staff. Will update review with more after class.

I had a great time learning @ TLC, they were very professional, provided excellent training material, and kept me motivated to take my Security+ exam. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this school/institution versus other facilities who don't provide as much support or personalized customer service.

I took CCNA certification courses at The Learning Center. I was impressed with the instructor Mike B and thought he was extremely knowledgeable. His real-world experience was really instrumental me in understanding the material and I passed the combo exam on the first pass. My experience was great and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for training and certification.

I recently attended an intense, one week long, boot camp for CISSP training at The Learning Center. I found this particular facility to be a delight. There facilities are clean, well lit, and overall aesthetically pleasing. The staff was friendly and accommodating (one director went out of his way to make me feel welcomed since I was a visitor to Las Vegas from NJ).

The class itself was GREAT, full of real world and meaningful content. I take many classes during the course of the year and I will be attending more at TLC Las Vegas. Michael O'Hara CTO KB Computing, LLC

This is a long overdue posting. I have taken two instructor-led certification classes (C|EH and CISSP) with The Learning Center. The instructors are very involved with the students and want to see everyone of them succeed and reach their goal (certification). The staff is really personable, professional, and helpful. I would recommend The Learning Center to anyone I know in the Vegas area.

First of all the woman that work at the place are very unprofessional. The young lady that made the comment about this place was right. You have a lady name Kim Newton that is suppose to be the account manager. She smells and very, very unprofessional. Her hair looks terrible, she looks like she just rolled out of bed and came to work. She dresses homely.

The girl name Vianey looks like she could be working at a strip club. As far as Monica she is just as bad as Kim, but Kim is worst. You ask questions they have no answers, I blame the people who hired these women. It's all about money, I called and got no information. All of these women should be fired for being unprofessional. Don't waste your time you do better going to CSN.

At least they train they staff to be professional. And on the day I went, they were having a personal conversation and didn't acknowledge my presence. What kind of business are they running. They were discussing some one getting married. The review that lashell favors left was more than likely one of the staff. If you look at the other reviews you will see the place is not good and they need a new staff

I would give them a whooping -5 stars if I could! They are not professional at all, and I am not even sure about the exam taking because I couldn't even take my exam in the first place! (I wish I saw these reviews prior to going.) First of all I scheduled to take my test on Monday with them on the phone. When she was able to find my information she then confirmed that it was me with my first name, then I said yes along with my last name (I even gave her my email with my last name). After that she asked for my voucher information, once she entered my voucher information she said "wow, I got it entered right the first time"

Not every one will have a positive experience. My experience is more recent and from the time I made the first call I felt important. My counselor was very professional and the staff their is awesome! I would recommend this school to anyone. Whomever the last post was speaking on (phone S%$ girl) none of the counselor there display any signs of that.

I have met with all 3 Ms. Monica, Ms. Kim and Ms. Vianey and they each have treated me with respect. This school and the people here go to battle for you to make sure that you get everything that you need. Of course there are some hiccups but then you learn to roll with it and in the end you are better for it. They prepared me for the real world in finding a job! Resume review, mock interviews.etc.! All in all I love the school!
